
A six-vehicle collision in Madison County on Friday claimed the lives of a 25-year-old Kevin Hirsch from Dayton and a 3-year-old girl.
According to our news colleagues at WBNS-TV in Columbus, the collision occurred around 8:45 p.m. under the SR-142 bridge.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a pickup vehicle struck the back of a car being driven by Kevin Wagoner, 25, of Dayton, when it was stopped in traffic on I-70 heading east, according to WBNS.
After hitting the back of another vehicle, Wagoner’s vehicle took fire, according to WBNS. As a result, Wagoner’s vehicle struck a Freightliner before coming to a halt.
Both Wagoner and his 3-year-old passenger, Mya Wagoner, were declared dead at the scene.
Five further casualties were sent to nearby hospitals.
I-70 has since reopened as a result of this collision.
